There's nothing more frustrating than set backs especially when you have been so disciplined up until this point.
You have worked so hard, prioritising your health & wellbeing and finally started to reap the benefits of all your efforts then BAM! Corona comes along throwing a spanner in the works.
...
Here are a few tips that could help prevent unnecessary snacking/binge eating whilst at home:
▪︎Plan & measure what you eat - Create a plan. You naturally eat less when you track your daily calorie intake.
▪︎Drink lots of water - You may actually be thirsty - Not hungry.
▪︎Conquer boredom - Keep yourself busy and occupied with lots of things to do throughout your day.
**Try to avoid sitting for long periods of time**
▪︎Reduce your stress levels - Research different stress management techniques such as: Exercise, Yoga and Meditation which incorporates deep breathing.
▪︎Take away temptation - Hide the crisp, chocolates, biscuits and cakes. The odd treat is allowed but in moderation.
▪︎Snack healthy - If you like to have a little nibble on something in between meals, chose healthier options such as: fruits, mixed nuts, chia pudding, carrot/cucumber sticks, seeds etc...
And lastly you could always...
▪︎Keep a daily food journal - Make a note of what are you eating, when and how are you feeling at that precise moment - Are you even hungry?
...
Another important factor to consider is sleep deprivation! Are you getting your 8 hours a night?
If not... that could also contribute to the reason why you are craving foods that are not good for you.

During this time it is important to be mindful of the foods you consume.
Nurture your body, after all your health is your wealth.
We will all experience good and bad days but it's important to remain hopeful as things will get better with time.
Don't be hard on yourself and take each day at a time.
